Meet the team… Connor Hawkins

This month, we’re speaking to our Apprentice Connor Hawkins.

What was your first day like?

My first day was spent in the panel plant with the other trainees. Jimmy Clements was training us – he really looked after us, he was a great team leader. When we joined we were learning to put the SFS frames together, boarding and taping & jointing.

Why did you join the company?

I was introduced to Mansell by meeting Steve Green & Rob Gallagher. They really sold the Company as a great place to work (which it is) and I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. I have always been interested in building things since I was young😊.

Fish and Chips or Sunday Roast?

Got to be a Sunday roast.

What’s your favourite hobby?

I like watching football and I’m a keen darts player – pretty good at it as well!

I enjoy DIY too.

Are you a red or a blue?

Red!!!!!

What makes you smile?

My Mrs and my kids!  And work actually.

Describe your perfect Saturday?

Take the kids to the park, binge-watch some TV & a few drinks with my brother.
