Off-site framing.
On-site finishes.
The business is split across two divisions, our off-site framing solutions and our on-site finishes. However, the Mansell team is one of a very small handful of sub-contractors in the UK who can provide a fully finished frame, combining expertise from both of our divisions.
The benefits to this full solution add real value to a development. Not only speed and cost, but also from a safety perspective.

Our process.
Take our factory tour.
As one of the largest and most experienced sub-contractors in our field, we’re proud to provide a ‘behind the scenes’ tour around our manufacturing plant. It’s the hub of our off-site framing division which fabricates panels for main contractors and developers on sites across the UK.
We’re one of only a handful of companies in the UK with the skills and capability to deliver pre-panelised structural framing systems and light gauge steel frames and we pre-fabricate the panels in a controlled and stable production environment to ensure the best possible quality.
Details of the tour:
You will be welcomed on the day by a member of Mansell staff before signing in and running through our Covid safe protocol. Moving through to the boardroom one of our directors will provide an introduction to company, and the people who make it tick, over a brew. We’ll then kit you out in the relevant PPE and introduce you to our Production Manager, Nigel Stockton, before moving onto the factory floor.
The tour follows the journey of our technical process so we’ll talk through the design, fabrication and supply of our panels. You’ll meet some of our team along the route who will provide information about their roles and some useful technical facts. The marketing suite is next. This is an area specifically set up for our prototypes and you’ll have the opportunity to handle material samples to really see their robustness and rigidity. Integrating a number of additional processes into our framing schemes ie. drylining, fire protection, external finishes such as brick-slips etc, is something which we are skilled in. These additional components are also showcased in the marketing suite which you may be interested in.
Finally, we’ll head back to the boardroom for a final chat and run through any additional questions you might have before the tour ends.
