Meet the team… Shaun Gayle

This month, we’re speaking to Mansell Spray Finisher, Shaun Gayle.

What was your first day like?

It was on Ryall Avenue – I was doing taping and jointing.  I was working with Paul Cooper – it was a Seddon site.

Why did you join the company?

I was at a skills centre in Clayton and Mansell’s came to visit – I was working for a taping & jointing company at the time.  Mansell’s said they were looking at taking on people to tape and joint but also to learn spray finishing.  It was Steve Green and Rob Gallacher who came down and told us about the Company.

Fish n Chips or Sunday Roast?

Sunday roast – all day long.  If I was going out for one I’d head to town.

What’s your favourite hobby?

I like playing football – just five a side with friends nothing too serious.

Are you a red or a blue?

I’m a red!

What makes you smile?

Life in general – I have had a great start to 2024 and things can only get better from here!!

Describe your perfect Saturday?

Waking up, getting the house sorted, nice food and then fresh and ready work on a Monday.
