Mansell Building Solutions at Housing 2023: Shaping the Future of the Housing Industry

So far in 2023, we’ve hit up the shores of the French Riviera for MIPIM and nipped across the Pennines to Leeds and UKREiiF. Now June is here and with another month comes another industry event.

In a few weeks, we’ll be speaking at Europe's largest housing festival - Housing 2023. The event, which will take place in Manchester Central from June 27th to June 29th, brings together industry leaders from local authorities, housing associations, government, housebuilders, and developers to share, discuss, and debate vital topics related to our industry.

300,000 home? Easy no?

Our Managing Director, Angela Mansell, will be offering her thoughts at the "300,000 new homes? Easy, no?" talk. This discussion will take place on June 28th, from 2 pm to 3 pm. Angela will be joined by:

·        Tonia Secker, Partner and Head of Affordable Housing at Trowers and Hamlins

·        Nicola Clayton, Business Development Manager at Project Etopia

·        Lorraine Mealings, Chief Executive at BCHA

·        Dan Cook, Chief Executive Office at Active Building Centre

·        And Polly Neate, Chief Executive and Shelter

These towering industry voices will share their vision and ambition for delivering more new quality homes for new generations. This session will dissect why we continually fail to meet these targets and highlight the collaborations needed to achieve them. Angela will bring to the table Mansell Building Solutions' experience and insights, especially concerning offsite and modern methods of construction - two critical tools in tackling the housing industry's challenges.

Unlocking the delivery of new homes workshop

In addition to this talking event, Angela will be running an interactive workshop titled "Unlocking the Delivery of New Homes" on Thursday 29th June, from 12.30 pm to 2 pm, at the Collaboration Hub. This workshop, sponsored by Mansell Building Solutions, invites attendees to engage with industry leaders in intimate groups to untangle the challenges and co-create a professional guide for housing delivery. Participants can look forward to deep-dive discussions on housing scale, collaboration, supply chain transformation, and social impact.

We’ve really stepped into the big conversations facing our industry this year and we’re committed to offering our voice in search of a solution. We believe that this conference and our workshop provide an excellent platform for fostering innovation and collaboration. By bringing together diverse voices and experiences, we can ensure a bright and sustainable future for the housing industry.

You can book your tickets for the conference here.
